Doran has been a financial advisor to high net worth families and institutional investors for over 20 years. He began his wealth management career at Merrill Lynch in 1999. After spending over six years at Merrill Lynch, Doran joined UBS in 2005. At UBS, Doran continued to serve his clients and build further relationships. He consistently developed new comprehensive strategies, excelling in the areas of wealth management, mortgage lending and estate planning. In 2013, to further service his clients’ individual needs, Doran launched United Global Advisors, LLC, as a boutique and full service financial advisory firm. In addition to his responsibilities at UGA, Doran serves as a portfolio manager of the Ace of Swords fund.  Amongst several charitable organizations that Doran serves, he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Magbit Foundation, a foundation that provides interest-free student loans to undergraduate and graduate students. He is also a board member and Treasurer of the Neuro-Muscular Disease foundation. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Doran is qualified under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63 and 65. He also holds an Insurance license. Doran enjoys playing competitive tennis, endurance training and travel.
